Hello there visitor. I am college student studying to become an engineer. This means I love to question how things work or why the do the things they do for the sake of curiosity. To quote an anonymous source, "Is the glass half full or half empty? Well, it seems just a little more than half full - assuming that it is water..." I'm also very independent, and like doing things my own way (which is usually my most efficient way.) I also hate small talk (it seems so redundant.)
That does not mean I'm a killjoy. I'm actually quite friendly. But, to be honest, I cannot tell a joke to save my life. My humor is more subtle and witty wordplay. I'm also quite playful and like to mess with people.
Most of the books I read are either fantasy, science fiction, or informative. For example, I love the book "Ender's Game." It's a novel with thought provoking themes and uniques takes on aliens.
The movies I watch are...well the only two genres I don't delve into are horror (I get bored of it relatively easy and can guess the plot most of the time) and the stereotypical chick flick (for obvious reasons.) One of my favorite movies is "Dr. Strangelove." This movie is a hilariously witty (and slightly dark and silly take) on the events leading up to an accidental nuclear apocalypse during the Cold War.
I listen to a lot of rock these days. You know, bands like Stone Temple Pilots and Foo Fighters. A song that I'm particularly hooked on at the moment is "Beast" by Nico Vega. It has a good beat, great lyrics, and an awesome vocalist. But I digress. I use to listen to rap when I was younger, but the new rap of this and last decade is very repititious and boring.
